                                        And 2021/22 Season

Kimmel Cultural Campus and Resident Companies are also following City of

Philadelphia mandate for masks at all Campus events

The Kimmel Cultural Campus has announced that all guests for public events will be required to show proof of vaccination across their venues: the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music, and the Merriam, as well as the off-campus Forrest Theatre. All attendees for public events must show proof of vaccination at the time of entry. Children under 12 will be required to show a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event. This policy is subject to change based upon guidance from the CDC and local health authorities. Audiences are encouraged to visit the Safe and Clean Commitment page  online for health and safety guidelines.

While entry procedure for proof of vaccination is still being developed, the announcement comes alongside similar mandates from New York City and other touring venues across the nation. Ticket holders will be notified with detailed instructions well in advance of their performance dates.

In addition to a Covid-19 vaccination policy for all its employees, in keeping with Philadelphia’s mask requirement, masks will be required. Masks will be required for everyone in the theatres except while actively engaged in consuming food or beverage. Additionally, the Kimmel Cultural Campus has invested in new HVAC systems to meet the CDC requirements to maximize fresh air intake.
