GIFT TO THE CITY IN CELEBRATION
OF
DIA DE LOS MUERTOS
The Kimmel Center for the
Performing Arts has announced that its Saturday, October 29th
performance by Mexican rock band Mexrrissey will now be a FREE ticketed event –
a gift to Philadelphia in celebration of the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos.
The group will perform for one night only at the Kimmel Center’s Perelman
Theater, 300 S. Broad Street. They will demonstrate a Mexican flare to the
greatest hits of artists Mexrrissey and The Smiths. Fans can visit www.kimmelcenter.org to secure free tickets.

Attendees are encouraged to stop by Bar Volvér
at the Kimmel Center’s campus restaurant before or after the performance to
purchase “The Mexrrissey Rocktail.”
