An
evening of non-stop laughter can be found in… (Who knew?)... the mall in Barbra
Streisand’s basement. 1812 Productions, located at Plays and & Players Theatre, 1714 Delancey Place, is
presenting Jonathan Tolin’s Buyer
& Cellar through October 29. Dito van Reigersberg stars in this
one-man one-act comedy and he is superb. He chats to the audience, has conversations
with his boyfriend, with Barbra’s housekeeper, and with Barbra herself among others. His
sense of comic timing is exceptional. If a laugh is not immediately
forthcoming, he will wait for it with a tilt of the head or the slightest raise
of an eyebrow and the audience roars. If you are not a season ticket holder,
